My baby was adopted at 4 months old and died 3 weeks shy of her 19th birthday. She had a really great life. She had 2 brain tumor incidents; one in 2012 and one in 2016. Both times I had the tumors removed and was very grateful to find that they were benign. They were the type that could recur every 4 years. It's possible the tumor was returning and that that caused her death. She had been playing, eating and jumping on and off the bed on the day of her death. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday she began to seize. I held her crying and praying it would pass. It didn't. She seized for an hour and 20 minutes while I held her. There was no time to get her to a hospital. I was on the phone with my veterinarian when she died. Blackbaby was with me every day since the death of my husband. I love her beyond measure. I don't know if I'll ever have another furbaby in my life because this pain is immeasurable. I miss her so very much. I know she's with my husband now and I have to wait until I see her again. She is my angel. She brought me so much happiness and was the sweetest baby in the world.
