You have been my friend and trusted companion for 16-1/2 years. I remember the day I brought you home on the train tucked into my bra. You and I bonded from day one. You always greeted me when I came home with such enthusiasm. Of course, you were mischievous, like the day you went on a walk about and I chased you all over the neighborhood, only to find you sitting on the front steps to the house when I came home. Hiding from me behind the shed so you could stay outside longer and trying to drink water out of the fountain. You always loved french fries/potato chips, chicken and steak. I think steak was your favorite. You are my heart, and I know I will see you again in the after-life. I am sorry if I waited too long to let you go. I just was not ready. Momma loves you dearly.
