When he was three, he made the big move to the New York City borough of Queens (after a brief stopover in Maryland). There he learned the ropes of dog life in the big city. Besides walking the streets of his Jackson Heights neighborhood, Bogie also ventured around Flushing Meadows Park where the 1964 World's Fair was held. He even got to attend a Mets game at Citi Field once.

Bogie particularly loved the weekend he spent on a farm in upstate New York where he ran around the grass fields and met cows that he thought were giant dogs. He also relished snow days, even more so after he discovered that he can "drink" snow because it's actually water.

In 2022, Bogie moved to Texas to begin a new adventure. He was thrilled to have his own backyard to do zoomies in or just lie down and take in all the smells and sounds of the world.

Bogie's last dinner consisted of a rib eye steak and hamburgers. His eyes lit up when the steak pieces were brought to him. He savored every bite. On the morning of his last day on Earth, Bogie got to ride in a hand wagon around his neighborhood lake. Illness had robbed him of the energy to walk himself but he perked up in the wagon and had a great time looking around at things and sniffing the air.

Bogie will be forever missed and never forgotten.
