Memories of BOO BOO BEAR
Another Precious FurBaby we send to the Rainbows Bridge

It is with a very sad heart I must inform our friends that our beloved Furbaby Boo-Boo Bear passed to the Rainbows Bridge Monday,March 26. He developed diabetes shortly after we moved home to Arizona in 2015,and after successful treatment was able to stop insulin therapy and was in diabetic remission. We had been monitoring his blood sugar levels monthly and he was doing very well. However, on his last blood sugar test we noticed his blood sugar level had increased and he had a weight loss of 1 1/2 pound in a short period of time. Our vet drew blood panels which she informed me indicated either he had some type of cancer or an infection going on.
The decision was to perform an abdominal ultrasound which indicated there was an abnormality in his abdomen. Since she had already been doing surgery that day we decided to do an exploratory surgery on his abdomen. She took him into the surgical suite to perform the surgery and after about 20 minutes she came out to tell me that after they had given him anesthesia and attempted to intubate him during the surgery, but she was unable to do so due to a large aggressive Squamous cell carcinoma tumor in the back of his throat that was inoperable. Noah David passed from the same cancer.
Very painfully, we decided the best thing for him was to send him on his way to the Rainbows Bridge while he was still anesthetized. Bear was 14 years old and will be missed so very much. He was such a loving wonderful part of our family. He was always my little man of the house. We are sure that our babies Terry,Snowbunny,Sammy,Sarah Elizabeth,Maxwell David,Noah David,Joker,Heaven and Ooie-Gooie were there to meet Bear and care for Him until we complete our life chores and we will be with all our Furbabies again forever. So mote it be.
