Memories of Boomey
Boomey appeared at my house in Texas when she was only about 5 months old. My next door neighbor found her, and we could never find her owner so she came to live with me and my other dog (at the time) Sadie - who also has a memorial on the Rainbow Bridge.

Boomey was a Foreign Service dog who lived in Brazil, Argentina, and Washington D.C. She traveled an estimated 40,000 miles in her life, more than some people!

Boomey loved to eat, go for walks, and play with her current sister Tiffany, a Jack Russell. We never knew exactly what breed Boomey was, but we suspect Dalmatian and Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog.) People would stop us on the street all the time to ask her what breed she was. Boomey was a sweet, loyal friend who always had a tail wag and a kiss for everyone.

Boomey had a nearly one year battle with cancer but she was a fighter and rallied many times before the cancer got the best of her. She was really the perfect dog, much beloved and we will miss her so much!!
