Memories of Brooklyn
I remember the day you arrived. You were waiting for me in the airport and the lady at the desk told me you were very vocal. I didn't have a name picked out but once I saw you I immediately knew that I would call you Brooklyn Dodger. You were so small but quickly grew to be the most beautiful, curious and loveable dog in the world. I was in love. I had never known what unconditional love meant till I raised and cared for you. We both went through so much together. Your health issues never phased me, nor you. You had a great disposition about every obstacle that life sent your way. I do not choose to remember you that way. I remember our walks and off leash runs. You loved running around, the smile afterwards is and always will be priceless. I hold those memories close to my heart. I will miss your loud farts and burps. Your smell. Your little kisses in the morning to wake me up. Your face. THAT NOSE! I was yours and you were mine. You gave me more than I could have ever given you. Now, I see you in a better place. Till we meet again, I love you.

-Mom

"It's been a long day without you my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
I'll tell you all about it when I see you again"
-Charlie Puth
