Memories of Bruno
You came into our lives when you were 4 years old. Daddy saw you and immediately the both of you were tussling on the grass. He knew you were ours and we took you home. You were such a good dog, fitting right in with us and the other doggies and cat in the house. We all adapted quickly. So many stories to remember..."slobbering" car rides, the many toys you would chew in seconds(until we found the tires)and your silly ways of acting when we had guest at home.

We remember going to the pet store to buy you a toy suitable for you. They sold us a tire they believed would not tear up and sure enough, you proved them wrong. Tug of war was your favorite game when you were young and we were amazed at how easily you dragged Daddy across the floor at over 200 pounds. The concept of fetching things was lost with you because although you would retrieve the ball or Frisbee, it was a fight to get it back from you. LOL

You made us laugh so much at your expressions and silliness; watching you trying to climb in the Jacuzzi was hilarious. You were such a gracious host, when Taco, Bell and Tequila came to live with us. You hung out in the yard together and looked out for each other.

The years went by and you learned many tricks. Although Daddy was not to happy, you managed to learn how to bark when you were done doing your business outside, picking that up from Taco (hope you guys are together). Daddy would say "bad habit"...I thought it was cute!! We would light the fire pit and you would find your way through the barricades we set up, just so you could be under our feet. Daddy would sit in his recliner and as soon as you heard the sound of the swivel, you would leave your bed, come over and great him and lay down under his feet. You did that till your last day. You kept Mommy company whenever Daddy was away on business. Watching Mommy playing with you on the floor was a joy.

Here we are 6 years later and we've had to say goodbye to you. Old age doesn't come easy to anyone or anything, but seeing you hurt was not easy. Even at your worse, you found a way to comfort us, while we were trying to comfort you. You loved us till the end and we will always remember the joy you brought us each and everyday. R.I.P. Bruno and play nice with Taco!

Mommy and Daddy miss you so much!!!
