Memories of Brutus

My precious boy was so loyal and loved me so much, he was always under my feet, and I knew to look before I took a step anywhere at any time. If I was walking I would actually turn a circle because I couldn't see where he was...he was right next to me. I would tell him that "I would marry him if I could!" I loved him SO much. No matter what the situation he would end up in positions that were so adorable that I have far more pictures of him than I do of my 'human' children! He was diagnosed with a brain tumor and went downhill fast, he did not suffer and for that I am so grateful. Although I miss him beyond words can convey and my heart aches every day, I know that I will see him again someday. Jesus got to meet one of the sweetest fur babies that ever was on 11/4/14

I wasn't aware of this awesome sight in January when I had to say goodbye to Brutus' momma; Sadie Rose 6/99 ~ 1/14
I lost my two beloved companions almost 10 months apart to the day. I had Sadie since she was six weeks old and she had one liter and gave us Brutus. Although Brutus developed a tumor I do believe he partly died from a broken heart, he never fully bounced back after his momma passed:( and I don't think I fully grieved her passing until I lost Brutus, I cry now for both of my babies but I know Sadie is looking after Brutus once again and that I will be reunited with them one day.
Sadie was such a wonderful momma to Brutus, she took such good care of him. She still cleaned his ears and face right up to the end when she just didn't have the strength or desire. He didn't like it but he had no choice; she was momma!

Look after each other my sweet babies and wait for me! I love you both
