As much as we didn't want to, we had to say goodbye. You are such a good boy and we will miss you so much! Thank you for spending your last few years with us. I'm so thankful that God gave us to each other and you were meant to be with us. We were blessed with your companionship and gentle demeanor. I will never forget when I brought you home, we unzipped the carrier bag and your butt fell out. We were amazed at how big you were, as big as a mountain lion! A big, beautiful boy! Your Daddy would say "you're so regal"! You were so sweet and I told you that it's going to be okay and that we were going to take care of you and love you now. I will miss you in the morning, when you came out on the balcony with me while I was having coffee. I will miss your greetings and saying hello to you when I come home from work. I will miss you being our warden when you would wrangle us up to go to bed, and not going to sleep until you said goodnight and made sure we were in bed. I will miss your cute little loving meow when we would talk to you, and your irritated one when we would sneeze. I will miss petting and kissing your forehead. I will miss how you enjoyed being brushed and how you liked your butt and tail petted. I will miss you enjoying the day and watching the birds. I will miss picking you up and giving you hugs and saying in your ear, "you're my Buddy Boy". I will miss your love bites and even pawing at my face while I slept. You are so loved and we are so heartbroken that you're gone. Mommy and Daddy love you! Until we meet again...Rest In Peace, sweetie pie. ❤️
