Chester you were such an extraordinary member of our family. There are not words to express how much you were loved and how much you are missed. You were so kind and compassionate to every one and always knew when you were needed by your siblings and especially your Mom and Dad. You were the most sensitive creature I have ever had the honor of loving and caring for. If one of us were sick or sad or depressed you would be right there to comfort us. Everyone loved you Chester, you were the best ambassador for cats. Many of our friends that never had pets went on to rescue and bring cats into their homes because of you. Chester your sensitivity, kindness and devotion to your family continually amazed us. You were exceptionally special throughout your entire life and you were dearly loved and will be in our hearts always. Letting go was so difficult but I know Napoleon and Junior were there to greet you when you crossed the bridge. More hugs and kisses to my special boy. Chester I think about you so often and smile every time I look at photos of you. You left so many wonderful memories. I worry sometimes that I took you for granted and that I could have done more to show you how much you were loved. I know you loved to be brushed and I know I didn't brush you enough and I am so sorry for that. The only good thing about the pandemic is that we got to spend so much time together. I feel sad that when you were sick I had to give you fluids and you hated it. I hope you know now I was doing what I had to do to help you continue with a good quality of life as long as possible. None of us ever wanted to keep you here if you were suffering. The only consolation I have is that you did have a good quality of life up until that last day. I never told you but Madison had a difficult time with your loss for a very long time. She has never been the same, she adored you and mourned you for a very longtime. The bond she had with you was special and she has not bonded like that with either of her new siblings even after 4 years. So please know that you are still missed and loved always. ❤️😘 Mom |
