My darling Chip, I am brokenhearted. The day I always feared has come and gone, and I'm left with a hole in my heart that cannot heal. You never left my side, and the love I felt for you was returned tenfold. When they told me you had cancer, I vowed to give you every possible chance to fight the disease. But when it became clear that you were suffering, I could ask no more of you. It still doesn't seem real that you are gone after nearly 14 years. I know you are suffering no more, and I hope you are with Axl, Zach, Ollie, Pal, and Skippy, all waiting until the day when I can hug you and shower you with kisses again. As I told you hundreds of times, I love you Chip. I always will. Please also visit Ollie and Zach Yochim. |
