Memories of Chynna
Chynna used to love sneaking helpings of human food. One time, she had her eyes on a chicken drumstick I had on a plate. I turned my back for no more than two seconds and she already snatched it up and started running away with the entire chicken leg! It had to have been bigger than her little head. Throughout her life, she loved to bring us toys and socks as presents. One of these times, she decided to trudge up the stairs with a whole pair of sweatpants in her little mouth. To this day we still don't know how she managed to do that. She also loved to bully our dog, swatting at her when she walked by, but our pup couldn't be bothered to care which made it all the more amusing. She was a trickster and liked to try and slip out the door when it was cracked and we weren't paying attention. There were many nights that we spent driving around the neighborhood and searching for her only to find her trotting up to the car looking unbothered. She was sassy, independent, but still loved us very much. As she got older, she resigned herself to a calmer life of snuggling and eating. Her favorites were salmon or any type of fish. Despite what she tried to make everyone else believe, we knew that she loved her brothers and sisters and grew to view them as friends over the years. She was a light, a soul that was very special and unique. I don't think I will ever meet another spirit as unique and special as her. We will love her until we meet again in heaven and I know she's wating for us to reunite one day.

10/31/23 - Chynna's love has transcended through others in their kind words and encouragement. Her mommy thanks everyone so much for the love and kind words everyone has left. Even after these two years without her, I know that she is watching over me and sending all of you kind souls to give me comfort.
