Miss Daisy Lu loved to chase squirrels and eat chicken. She enjoyed being in nature and playing with us in the woods. She had so much personality and always made us laugh with her silly faces and single snaggle tooth. She was known to bark at a piece of popcorn before eating it and wake you up in the morning by sneezing. Her nickname "Rocket Dog" comes from her lightning speed when running around the yard with the zoomies. We love you Daisy Lu. I miss you so much my sweet little doggie <3 She lived a wonderful and full life. Her passing was just as peaceful. She was surrounded by her family who loves her as she was put into a blissful sleep. She felt no pain and was pet and kissed all the way into her slumber. On June 4th, 2023, I discovered a journal entry from 2006 where I learned that Miss Daisy had been born September of that year, not September of 2007. It is so amazing to think that she lived almost a whole 17 wonderful years with us here. She was my childhood best friend. We got her when I was 9 and she passed as I am writing this at 25. Our birthdays are only two days apart, so I will light her an extra candle every year and to never forget her. I have been so lucky to know such a wonderful doggie.
