Memories of Daisy
Daisy brought so much joy into our lives and even though my wife purchased her for us, Daisy was clearly her dog. My wife was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 2017 so after that, it was just Daisy and I. I had no idea how attached I would become to this ball of fur who stole my heart the first time I laid eyes on her. Daisy became my world, especially since she was the last link to my wife.

My little 12 year old Daisy passed away unexpectedly in my arms on April 10, 2023.

9/11/23 - Its been just over five months since you've been gone and my heart still aches and the tears still flow. You helped me make it each day coming home from work after losing Janice. I now come home to an empty and lonely home. I do not ever want another pet companion as no other could replace you and I cannot bear this extreme grief of ever losing another pet. You will always be my little girl.

10/10/23 - Early this morning, six months ago, I held you for the last time. The days are easier but I still think of you often and of much I miss you. I sometimes have regrets that I didn't play with you more often or take more walks. You were truly my loyal companion and I will always love you.

4/10/2024 - Its been one year this morning that I held you for the last time. I miss you my Daisy girl.

7/23/2024 - Always thinking of you and forever in my heart.
