Memories of Dee

There are so many memories of Dee, so many details that made her who she was. She was my "snooze button," keeping me in bed til late in the morning by sleeping on my chest. She loved to be beside me, and was included in many videos I made. She enjoyed tea, and destroying plants (real or not.) One of her favorites was corn husks. She also enjoyed knocking things down, especially the vase of pink roses, and sneaking into places I didn't want her to go. She had a special sound she made to brag when she'd gotten away with something, and a "coming up" meow for when she jumped up beside me. Her favorite toy was Marty the dog's tennis ball, which she would hold with her front feet and kick with her hind ones. She was an expert at hiding from people she didn't know, but a loving companion to those she did. She always kept Marty in line, although they did often cuddle together. There was no question who was in charge of the house, but there was also no question of the love she gave. |
