I had you for 15 years, I got you as a feral kitten. You have been at my side every day. I looked after you and worried about you when you did not come home on time. I got other cats and sorry that Serpent had to taunt you. But you knew you were safe with me. I had to put you down as that cancer growth on your lower lip was preventing you from eating and you were losing weight. You are healthy now and wondering where you are, but as you can see, Boo, Brother, Lila, Limpy and others that we had are there. I will see you someday and am missing you. I go out calling for you and look at the spots you used to be. I love you, Dewey. My heart is broken. 8/18/21 Thank you for visiting me in my dream, I was sitting on the sofa and you crossed the frontdoor porch like you did every day and I said, "There's Dewey", I got up opened the door and you ran from me. You were big and healthy, no tumor on your lip, and at the end of the dream you were walking off with Boo! It was good to see you !!! 8/26/21 I picked up your ashes from the Vet. They did a nice job with your paw print. You are home! I still go out to the garage and call for you. I say prayers for you everyday! I think Stu and Serpent know that you are gone in that they don't see you anymore. Stu sleeps with me as he always did. I miss feeling your back against mine. We all have to be patient and wait til the time comes. I love you Dewey!!
