We found you on the side of the road protecting a stray kitten from harm with no thought for yourself 15 short years ago. This is who you always were. So afraid of people but the mother of all furry creatures. Everyone said you would be antisocial and not like a normal dog. You learned to trust and love us with the help of our other fur babies. Once that was established, we could not have asked for more. You were so gentle and loving, the most loyal fur baby. Always shy and never demanding. How you loved chasing the squirrels up the trees, although you would not know what to do if you ever caught up with them. Running up and down the fence barking at the people on the beach with Dino, Shaggs and then Destiny was one of your greatest joys in life. But the best joy in your life was being with your Daddy. You would be so happy when you would go with Daddy to work. You were his shadow. You were a natural "mother" to our other little fur babies over the years although you never had any pups of your own. They would climb on you and bat you with their little paws and you would just roll your head in pure delight. As you got older, lying in the grass and feeling the morning sun on your back was how you would start your day. We can still see you there my sweet baby. Your precious presence is so badly missed. We love you so much, you will always be in our hearts. Now you are out of pain at the Rainbow Bridge with Foxy, Diamond, Dino, Dancer and Shaggs. We can see you running and playing with them and can't wait until we can all be together again. 5/6/11 - Dazzle has arrived. You were always like a mother to her and she loved you so much. Sweet Dodger, please watch over her and love her like you always did. You are all missed so very much. Our house feels so empty with just Destiny. Please also visit Dazzle, Destiny, DIAMOND, Divinity and Shaggs. |
