Sweet, gentle racing dog....Raced under the name: Spriteright; and won two races.....Rescued from the Track and Then adopted for 5 years by someone who called you "Babe" and then had the cruelty to give you back to Light(long Island Greyhound Racing.) I adopted you on 3/5/2011.....Renamed you Dottie. Your beautiful brindle and spotted coloring's gave me that idea. You were gorgeous and graceful. Yes, you had the fun of running in my home a little bit. But not enough. Too many times your were harmed; and then had the misfortune to have your toe broken; and have a difficult and long recovery. It seemed that you were doing well. Just 10 & 1/2 of age; and the shock and sudden appearance of bone cancer took you in one day. I held you; it was over. I whispered in your ear: "You Won girl! You won the race!" Though the kitties are here; you never harmed them..And little, poor, old, Mrfang misses you; and Maestro is(?) trying ---I am brokenhearted. Rest in Peace and loving girl.
