Memories of Dozer
Dozer would do anything for Mama. From wearing hats and costumes, to leaving special presents of toys in bed, he did everything he could to make Mama happy.
Daddy was special to him too.
Dozer received all the attention when we were out. Always the perfect gentleman!Everyone noticed your manners and you made mama proud with your polite good behavior. Everyone who knew you loved you.
You are missed.

Today it has been a year. The grief and pain are still there, but have changed. We miss you dearly Mr Hoo. No one could ever replace you. I hope you are doing exactly what I know is true to you- being the "police dog" of the meadow... no too-rough play around you! Please remember to welcome all the new pet family and help them acclimate. You are a good boy. The best boy. (P.S. Sister Meechi misses you too)

We got a new puppy. His name is Zeus. Sister Meechi plays with him. He loves to sit in mama's lap and hear stories about you. I still cry for you. I cry now as I write. I love you hoo.

It is almost Halloween...one of your favorite holidays! No one greeted the kids in costume quite as excitedly as you did. The time spent sitting at the open door just watching and waiting. I always knew when kids were approaching by your tail. I miss you so much hooch.
Kids are all grown up around here. No more trick-or-treating happens in the neighborhood. The leaves are still fun though. I know you're being a good boy, but... be a good boy. Mama will be back. I love you.

Can you believe it has been 5 whole years today since you walked with me? Since I held you? Since I touched your velvety ears? Since you looked up at me with those big beautiful eyes? I still miss you every day. I was the luckiest lady alive to be able to call you mine and have you call me yours. The pup you sent me? Zeus? Well, he is starting to calm his anxiety a little. I can see why you sent him to me. Anyone else would have returned him. You knew I needed him - a project dog, just as much as he needed me. He gets excited when I talk about you. I love you hooch. Happy 5th rainbow anniversary.
