August 25, 2011 - May 13, 2023

Elliemae Wagenhauser, a beautiful Greyhound, was born August 25, 2011 from sire Galena and Dam Sang Hwa. She was adopted from Greyheart Greyhound Adoption Group by her forever family, Greg and Sandy Wagenhauser, to whom she would spend 11 wonderful years.

Elliemae loved to spend her days in the sun laying in the grass or chasing squirrels. She enjoyed spending time with her favorite people, in addition to her family, she welcomed her favorite visitors Lanae, Chris, Nate and her greyhound sister Casey. She was sure to follow her people wherever they went. Some of her favorite places were camping, the local hot dog stand, Dairy Queen to enjoy her pup cup and even trips to the bathroom.

She would often be spoiled with cookies or stuffies, but one thing was for certain, she always showed gratitude for all the love her people showed her. Some may think gratitude is more of a human trait but Elliemae had a special way of bringing joy to all those she loved. She was sure to let you know with her cuddles and vocalizations, always letting you know what she was thinking with her whines, roos and barks.

Elliemae was sadly lost to her battle with cancer, May 13, 2023, just 3 months before her 12th birthday. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elliemae's care has been entrusted to Our Beloved Companions a division of Merkle Enterprises, Inc. Monroe, Michigan
