Memories of Finnegan Winter
Finnegan loved everyone. He took care of his deaf sister Reagan (Winter) for 10 years before her passing. He was my closest and best friend after retiring and moving accross country. Maureen could not wait to return from her business trips to spend time with him. He loved the beach and playing in the surf. He couldn't wait to go on gulf cart rides every night with us. I hope to be as good a person as Finnegan thought I was. He made Maureen and I better people and taught us more about love and sacrifice than most people we know. He and his sister were adopted from Boxer Rescue together in 2008. The four of us made a very loving family. After losing her a year ago, Finnegan grieved but doubled his efforts to take care of us. His character and heart are a model not only for other dogs to aspire too, but humans as well.
