In July of 2004, I underwent major surgery. I needed bed rest for two months. My Fluffy laid on the bed with me the entire time. She would not leave my side, except, of course, to eat and use the litter box. She was a very, very special kitty. She would wait for me behind the door when I'd come home from work. She laid on my lap every night while I watched television. She loved to watch me cook. Every Sunday, while I cooked dinner, she would stand by me eagerly waiting in anticipation that, just maybe, she would get the first taste of whatever I was preparing. I was her mommy and she was my baby. If I were to own one hundred cats from now until the end of my days, there will NEVER be another Fluffy. I love you with all my heart Fluffy and I always will.
