Well Fritzy, its been a great long run. Fritz had just turned 18 and had been with me since he was 6 weeks old. He was a loving sweetheart. His biggest thrill was just to be with me. He slept under the covers at my side. He was content to lay across my chest for hours on the couch, his little head tucked in under my chin. He was there at my side in his little life vest boating in the summers. He loved the car, sitting in my lap with his paws at the window. The breeze in his face as he spun his head back and forth to look outside and then toward me to catch my eye as if to say "Did you see that Daddy?, did you see that?" He will be so missed and always loved. Thank you for being there for me little Fritz. Thank you for making your passing as easy as you did as well. Fritz was spared any illness, he lived a heathly, care free life and his passing was calm and peaceful. His buddies Dutch and Thud have been waiting patiently for him to join them and at last the gang is all back together. Tear it up guys! 11/3/09 - I cant believe its been a whole year since you've been gone. I think about you every day and you'll always be missed. It had been about 6 months after you were gone and a stray Yorki came my way. I named her Gingin and shes a very good girl. Shes about 2 years old now and just a bundel of energy. I also recently adopted a 1 year old Chihuahua that I named Cocoa. She was from a rescue and she is very sweet. She and Gingin are together all the time and although they can never take your place they do help to fill the empty place in my heart. I love and miss you little Fritzy.
