Em kab hek-en-mess "In the company of Friends" (A beautiful saying and very fitting)^_^ Well, from the moment we got Freckles we knew she was special. Someone had beat her and dropped her off out in front of our house. It was right after 101 Dalmatians the movie had been re-released. I guess they figured since she didn't behave like the movie Dalmatians, they just didn't want her. Our neighbor called us at 1 in the morning in the summer of 98 and told us that she was outside knowing that I had a thing for Dalmatians. Putting an add in the paper, we waited to see if someone would claim her. They never did. So we ended up keeping her. Then the day that we dreaded came. She started getting really sick on New Year's day (2005). The next day we rushed her to the vet. He told us something was wrong with either her liver or her uterus and that he thought it might be cancer. He said he could try to help her, but she only had a 15% chance of making it. This included a catheter, iv's, bloodwork etc....about $800 to just begin with. She was in horrible pain so he suggested that the best thing for her would probably be to put her down. After making the hard decision, we decided that it was for the best. We love and miss ya, girl! Until we meet again! 12/04/09 - Merry Christmas Puppy Girl! 04/08/09 - Happy Easter Pup! 02/08/09 - Happy Valentine's Day girly! Say hi to Lancey and make him feel welcome! 12/01/08 - Missing you pup! I hope you're having fun with all your brothers and sisters! 01/02/07 - It's been two years since you've passed to the bridge today and I still miss you just as much. I hope you are enjoying running and playing with your sister and having lots of fun. Love and miss ya girl! 9/29/07 - Hey pup, happy fall! Missing you lots and lots! 03/06/08 - Three Years that I've been without you. Hard to believe. I hope that you and your sister have met up with Salem and have welcomed him and shown him around. Please also visit Angel, Binx, Chewbacca, Feisty, Salem, Samantha, Spike and Tuffi. |
