Georgette was born in March of 2000. She was a member of a feral colony that has been living on my mother's property since 1999. Georgette loved to explore the neighborhood. She especially loved the huge field that was near the neighborhood florist. She would roam that field all day looking for mice. She would return in late afternoon with a huge mouse hanging out of her mouth. She visited everyone's backyard. She was the queen of the neighborhood! I would lay out a piece of outdoor carpeting on the patio and sprinkle catnip all over it. Georgette would roll all over the carpet until she was covered in catnip. She loved her scratch block and would excitedly jump on it and start scratching as I served her dinner. Sometimes, she wanted her meals served to her on the toolshed roof. When she took a day off, she would sleep in her favorite bed that was on top of a haystack. Georgette truly enjoyed life. Georgette, I hope you are enjoying paradise with your brother Jake, your sisters Alexis and Daisy, you mom Priscilla and your friends Winnie, Cougar, Billie, Darlene, Alexander, Oscar, Sam and Zachary. We will always love you! |
