Memories of Ginger
Ginger was born in North Carolina on February 12, 1987. During her journey to her new home, the airline encountered some scheduling problems. The 3 hour flight turned into a 13 hour journey. Ginger was confined in her travel carrier for the 13 hours in the cargo hold of the plane. Her journey was further complicated when the plane had to fly through a series of very bad storms. Upon her arrival at the airport, Ginger "exploded" out of the carrier....she was never crated again. Six months after her arrival to her new home another new friend named Suzi arrived and, five years after that, little Annie Mae. Ginger was now big sister and always kept Suzi and Annie Mae under her "paw". Ginny's favorite toy was "tuffy" [Kong]. She had three of them. She would decide which one would be the "tuffy" of the day. She could seek "tuffy" out wherever it landed in the garden. She knew exactly which one she wanted to play with.

Ginger enjoyed her sixteen years in her home surrounded by love and security. She shared her days and adventures with her constant sidekicks Suzi and Annie. We will always think of her and the joy she brought to our lives.
Be happy with your new friends at the Bridge Ginger. With love from your family.

UPDATE July 2003 - Dear Ginger....thank you for sending us your "gift" from the Rainbow Bridge. Killian Rose arrived on July 29, 2003. You trained her well. Suzi and Annie are terrified. We are exhausted. Killie is as Red as an Irish Setter, but the cutest little Toy Poodle you could want. She has a lot of your traits. We know you are watching out for all of us. We miss you. Thanks! Your Family.
UPDATE, April 12, 2004 - Ginger, your Sister Suzi is arriving at The Bridge today. Take care of her and both of you be happy, forever. Love, Your Family<BR>

UPDATE: June 10, 2005. Ginger and Suzi. Annie is arriving at the Bridge today. She left us very unexpectedly. We are heartbroken. We know she missed both of you and I think she wanted to join you both these past months. Please watch out for her. We love you all so very much. The Girls are once again reunited. Forever. Love J and J and Killian Rose.

Please also visit Annie Mae and Suzi.
