Heidi you were the best care taker of all for many....You were Born To Love... you were always right there when we needed you most.... from becoming a wet nurse to a litter of kittens when you were just a baby yourself, to staying by my side 24/7 during 3 years of intense treatment for my own illness, to being a constant companion to Granny Betty in her senior isolated years... to giving Quinn that occasional "nip on the butt" when she deserved it... LoL... You never missed a "lick"... There will never be another like you... I remember when we drove 400 miles to get you & NaNa had gone into our hotel room before we arrived & left all the gift baskets & welcome for our new "Baby"... you would fit in the palm of our hands & only weighed 4 lbs... we took you to the beach, & you looked like a speck in all that white sand. Granny Betty thought you looked like a little Rat & we had to put a little kitten collar on you with a bell so that we wouldn't step on you.... then you grew up & started hogging the bed... to be such a little thing, you could sure stretch out & take up a LOT of room... LoL... Although you were the class clown in the obedience classes that you & Katie so diligently attended, you still got your diploma! What a PROUD moment That Was... & It was always such a joy watching you open up your own Christmas presents each year, that was a gift within itself... the holidays just won't ever be the same! This house seems so empty without you... I miss your sweet little smootches, & the way you politely begged at the table with that ever so gentle nudge of your paw... We Love You & Miss You.... Thank you for the Best 11&1/2 years filled with Wonderful Memories! |
