We were told before we got a dog that on the way home from the breeder's house, she would be upset, disoriented, and probably vomit several times. When we retrieved Henri, she was excited to get in our car, wagged her tail, then took the blanket we had brought for her to vomit on and instead lied down on it and went to sleep. By the next day, we were her pack, and she was part of our family. From that day on, Henri never did anything "by the book." It's been ten years now since Henri passed away. Life has moved forward - but we still remember Henri. She was a special dog, and we will always miss her. We love you, pups.
