I was the lucky one this wonderful cat literally saved my life six and a half years ago after having him for about two years when I was suffering through my darkest time and deepest depression thinking about leaving this world. In 2014 when I went to Northwoods to rescue a kitty he chose me I didn't choose him I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life he stuck his paw out and pulled me towards his kennel and stole my heart instantly, it was a match made in heaven and meant to be. Jacob has been here through thick and thin through darkness and through light my guardian angel, my bestest companion, my biggest fan, and my dearest friend. Never has he judged me, laughed at me, or left my side for ten years. He reminded me to be playful and adventurous he reminded me to live in the moment and love unconditionally. Jacob was my world when everything that has been taken away seems gone forever or when the world turns ugly he was always my constant ray of sunshine. He followed me everywhere and loved me with everything he had in his little body. I'm absolutely devastated, and I can't imagine coming home to an empty house every night and see that he's not there sitting by the door like so many times before. We shared a special bond that I can never have again and this just hurts this is heartfelt pain. The world is gonna feel a little emptier a little darker with him gone. I'm just gonna really really miss him. 💔😭 He couldn't walk anymore blood clots paralyzed his back legs and putting him down is going to give me so much guilt but I didn't have a choice. I'm gonna be lost for a bit without him. I'll love you forever Jacob.
