She was the cutest little thing. Little did I know that little bundle of fur would take over my life. "Put her in a portable baby play pen and she will go right to sleep" they said. That lasted about 10 minutes. From that point on, she was my constant companion. She was my little schnauzer mutt. I took her to doggie obedience classes 2 times. She did very well at class but at home she had my wrapped around her little finger. She had this way of looking at me that seem to say "You have got to be kidding". She had problems with her eyes so I always had to clean them. She hated this. She had knee surgery. She had a little brother who was 1 year younger. He died 3 years ago. For those past 3 years I have dreaded the fact that she was getting older. We got 3 other puppies over the past 3 years but she remained the Queen of the house. Even before she died she would still have days when she would bounce out to the backyard with them just like she was a puppie too. I hope she know much I loved her. |
