The day we met was pure circumstance. You were about to be sheltered, and I was wanting a dog. Your caretaker came up and said I could have you free of charge. The moment our eyes met, we both knew we were made for each other. From that day since you were always by my side, to the point of annoyance. But even then I still loved you, and I knew you loved me just as much if not more. Always getting in my face for my food, demanding belly rubs, sleeping in weird contorted positions or always needing to sleep under the covers with me. It will be a lot quieter and colder without you, so just be patient for me and wait for me to cross the rainbow bridge to get you, okay? I love you, Jemma. See you soon. |
