Memories of Kiko
Kiko you were our first daughter and a best friend anyone could ask for. Mom convinced me to get you after I gave her a hard time about how much responsibility and work you would be to take care of, but you made it so easy for us and it was the best decision of our life. We loved how you would cuddle with us and follow us everywhere. We loved taking you everywhere because we knew how much you loved outings with us, and Im sorry the last outing we had I failed you as a parent. I wish I could go back in time and prevent you from leaving us, but your departure has shown us how to love deeper than ever and appreciate life like we've never had before.

We'll miss how you would drag your food bowl to us, we'll miss your little barks to get attention, we'll miss your overwhelming kisses and show of affection when you saw us, we'll miss you taking walks and car rides with us, we'll miss carrying you around when you were scared, we'll miss your presence in this empty house, we'll miss you scratching at the door, we'll miss your fluffy goofy little face and being able to kiss you and squeeze you, we'll miss the tricks you did, we'll miss your warm body on the bed, we'll miss when you alert us when someone is home, we'll miss finding your toys and treats hidden in random areas, we'll miss you, we'll miss you...

We'll be sad you won't see Aleia grow up but we're glad you at least got to meet her. We're sad you won't be at Christmas this year in our new home but we'll be sure to keep your stalking up and fill it with treats and also mom will wear her sweater with a picture of you on it. We're glad youre able to roam free and not be stuck inside when we're at work.

Thank you for everything you've done for us and the sacrifice you made. I'm sorry for failing you as a guardian but I know your death is not in vain. We will love you forever and hold you dear in our hearts. Come visit us whenever you can my goofy little funny face. Hug ya, kiss ya, squeeze ya, and sniffle your face.

Love ya baby girl.

Mommy and Daddy.
