Memories of Kody Gitler
You were always full of mischief and fun. I couldn't wait to
be greeted by you at the door-you always seemed to know when I was coming
home and waiting with a jump and a hug. Your favorite game was stealing
papers and bags from the kitchen and having me chase you- finally giving
them up in return for a treat. You also loved to chase PJ the cat. You
were cuddly and snuggly, always sitting next to us on the couch and lying close in the bed.
However, when it was time to get up you had little patience. You'd start by licking my feet,
and if that didn't work you'd bark. Your eyes were soulful and deep, and you could always sense my mood.

A piece of me died with you. I can only hope that you know how much you were loved and treasured by all of us.
I will remember you every single day. You will never be replaced. Rest in peace my precious baby boy
Kody. I know you did your best to be there for me as long as you could-it wasn't long enough.
