We spent 17 years together and finally we both knew it was time for you to rest in peace free of the pain of old age, the insecurity of not be able to see very well and the inability to be active any longer. You will be missed everyday but I know you are finding Bandit, your companion for so many years, and the 2 of you will run and play together once again. I now have 2 very special loved ones looking down on myself and Dirk. 5-30-13-It's been a couple of weeks now and not a day goes by that I don't think about my "little" girl. Yesterday, I got to bring you home from the vet; you now are resting next to Bandit and your paw prints are together once again. 11-19-13 -- It is the holiday season once again and the first that you will not be running around the house for them. Dirk has a companion now, another rescue from the animal shelter. Her name is Jezy. They get along well and she is like you, always wanting to lay down on my lap and snuggle! 2-9-15 -- Another year has begun but Lexie is always in my thoughts. She is such a special companion who will always be with me 2-17-16 -- Lexie moved with us to our new home and has a special place in my office. I know she is watching over us and is always in our hearts. She is running free of the pain of her age and spending special time with Bandit and all the other babies. 2-15-17 -- I know I haven't visited for a long time, but there I am always thinking about Lexie and her companion Bandit. I know they keep an eye on me, Dirk and Jezzy!! 5-1-18 -- Just visited Bandit and had to make sure to check in with "my little Girl" You are always in my thoughts and always will be remembered for always being such a great companion. 2-10-20 Lexie I hope you have found Dirk who has crossed the bridge to run and play with you |
