Lucky, a sweet Teacup Chihuahua, brought so much joy to our home in Vung Tau, Vietnam during the few days he stayed with us after being at my grandparents' place. At just 3 months old and no bigger than an adult's hand, Lucky had a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. He adored snuggling on the bed, being spoiled with treat sausages, and being cradled in my mother's arms--where he always felt most at home. Lucky was so considerate that he never peed on the bed or barked at my mother, who formed a deep bond with him in such a short time. One day, while she was holding him, Lucky squirmed to get free, and we quickly realized he needed to relieve himself. Although my mother worried that Lucky and Happy, our other Teacup Chihuahua, didn't get along because Happy would often nibble on Lucky's head, I believe it was just their playful way of interacting. They were adorable together, chasing each other around with boundless energy. Despite the challenges he faced in his short life, Lucky was a little fighter, always trying his best to overcome them. In his final days, he was surrounded by love--from Vivian, from my mother, and from me, even though I never had the chance to meet him. Lucky's memory will always be cherished in our hearts.
