| I try thinking of my most favorite memory of you and I think it is when we went to the cat show that had the Easter Parade. That was when I placed that straw Fedora with the bird's nest on top of it, on top of your head.When I got you up on the stage in front of the judges in your harness and leash, you pranced in line with your tail full and high, your head held proudly up. You loved it! Then when you came in third, I could hardly believe it! Do you know that I still have that little hat and I also have the cup that you won, too. Remember the costume contest you were in when you wore the vest and cape that I made for you. The colors were red, white, and blue. You had a hat for that one,too. You were Super Cat, helping cats all over the U.S. I think you came in second that time. You really loved to show off. Even though you have been gone for over 10 years, I still miss you so much. Autumn is there now. Say hello to her for me. I love you. |
