Maddie came into my life on June 1, 2014. She arrived at a time when I needed her most. She gave me joy and companionship and a renewed love of life. Maddie had a rough start. She was left at the door of a shelter in Augusta Georgia with her two sisters. There she remained for the first eight years of her life. Once she arrived at our home, the two of us never looked back. We shared many happy times together. She was a sweet and wonderful dog and loved by all who met her. She has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. My hope is that my mother (for whom she was named) has taken my Maddie into her care.
