Magellan, you were so named because you were a natural explorer. The moment I first saw you, I knew you were the dog for us and you stole my heart immediately. You loved to play and loved to cuddle. And you loved hide and seek, and your toys. A game of tug-o-war was always fun with you. You loved to steal the scrunchies from mommy's hair. In your old age, you were great company. You were a funny and very sweet dog. I blinked, and 13 years went by.... Magellan, you brought so much love, joy, and laughter to our home. Thank you for making me laugh till I cried. Thank you for being a protector, and companion. You will be in our hearts forever. We love you! Run, healthy, and free Magellan! We'll see you again someday, and we'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge. May 28, 2017 Good morning Magellan. Max helped me redecorate your residency memorial. You are having a fruit and dessert party today. I suppose you can eat anything you want now. I let Max choose everything because I want him to feel important too, in creating a memorial for you. He loved you too, we all did. It's been almost a week since you left us for the Rainbow Bridge. I hope you have made many new friends there. I look forward to when we can all see you again. I wish you happiness and I know that you are watching over us. May 30, 2017 Hello Little Friend of Friends. Yesterday was a week since you made your journey to the Bridge. Tonight, Alex added his personal flair to decorate your Memorial. Flowers, just like the ones in front of our house. A blanket, because you love them. A teddy bear, like the one I gave you on your first birthday, a cozy bed, and bones. Alex loves you too and misses you. I know there are new arrivals at the Bridge every day. Let them know it's ok. I know you will be a friend to them. Magellan, you came into our lives for a Reason. I learned a lot because I cared for you. I learned how to be an even better person because of you. I still miss you, and I always will. Please know that I am sending my love to you on angel's wings. You are in my heart always.
Hi Little Buddy. Well, it's been about 4 weeks since you made your journey to the Bridge. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Watch over your sister Valentine. Sometimes I feel like she isn't doing great. I have a feeling that she misses you. Daddy and i laugh though when we talk about you, and what a joy you were. I love you!
Hi Angel, September 23, 2017 Hi Gelly, Max and I updated your memorial because it's officially Fall and your birthday is next month (you are our Halloween Baby). I've been missing you so much. We all miss you. Max wanted me to let you know he misses you so much. He wishes he could give you a hug everyday. Max gave you some tasty treats for your memorial, because he always wants to give you a party. Max loves you so, so, much. Max gave you a birthday cake and a cupcake to celebrate your upcoming birthday at the Rainbow Bridge in heaven. Max loved your fluffy fur. Valentine loves you too.
