I will never forget the first day you came into our lives. You were so rambunctious and such a handful! I used to joke about how you would tow me around the neighborhood. Your enthusiasm for walks never got old, and oh, how I miss that hound dog bark. You were such a treasure. You didn't deserve to be abandoned by your previous master just because you were too old and sick to hunt. You deserved so much more. I know I should have given you the peace you deserved so much sooner instead of letting you suffer, but I love you so much, and selfishly, I couldn't bear the thought of being without you. You brought so much joy to our lives.
