My baby was stricken with oral cancer and was dying rapidly. She was always a small cat, weighing 5.7 lbs, but she lost a pound when I took her in. A week after the diagnosis, she weighed 3.9 lbs. That's when I decided to do one of the hardest things I had to do, put her to sleep. It was out of love that I made this choice, I couldn't watch the misery she was suffering any longer. My poor baby couldn't eat any more and was constantly drooling and licking. I was always pulling clumps of hair out if her mouth. I love my baby to this day and will miss her forever. She was my Itty Bitty Kitty. |
