Misty was born with mega-esophagus which made her susceptible to breathing issues, pneumonia, and eating problems. When we got her as a pup, our vet was not sure she would live , but she was our miracle baby living to be 7 years old. Although she was smaller than our other two shepherds, she was never intimidated by their size. Misty could take it as well as give it, and she would never back down. Her fighting spirit kept her fighting for her life. When we returned home each day, Misty would be at the door greeting us as if we had been gone for weeks. I will miss her greetings and her spirit. Love you, Misty.
