We met Molly at a local animal rescue shelter. Upon visiting the shelter we were given a tour of the facility. As we entered the area designated for young cats, Molly (then named Louise) was first to greet us. As we continued to tour other areas of the facility we realized that Molly was following only a few paces behind us. Our guide was quite surprised that she had escaped the enclosed "young cat" area. Molly followed us throughout the balance of our tour and once we entered the facility's "petting area" she was quick to our laps. How could we not appreciate her tenacity and choice. After spending a week with our Veterinarian, Molly was introduced to our family and into our household. Molly enjoyed our company as we truly loved and enjoyed hers. She scampered, played, sunbathed, and snoozed, but her most endearing quality .. she loved having us close to her. I only wish I could have had her cloned. Rest well our sweet girl. You have given us more than you know: Memories. |
