The world was bright with you in it, Munchie. Now it feels so empty. You brought so much light and love into my life and to everyone who met you. You were my true soul dog and it was an incredible honor to be your mom for these last 11 years. You gave me so much purpose and taught me so much. You showed me a love and a bond like no other. Run free my sweet little king. I wanted to give you the world and take you so many more places. But I gave you all the happiness and care that I could and you gave me the best love I have ever known and memories for a lifetime in return. I still don't feel like this is reality and you should be next to me right now. I will keep your bed and blanket right where it was, by my side, my sweet Munchie. I will carry you with me in my heart always. I don't know how to sleep, or do anything without you right now, all I know is that I have to find a way to keep going for you. I know the Outer Banks was your happy place. So I will take you there to let your spirit be free soon. And I will take care of many other dogs that need help in your memory. And I will rescue another in your honor one day.. I will be strong for you. Because you were the strongest for me. I love you always. You truly were the goodest boy. No more suffering my love. I will miss you forever. Until I see you again. Run free sweet Munchie and know that you were everything to me and gave me the best 11 years I could have ever asked for. |
