I remember how much you loved mushrooms. I remember your golden, sagely gaze. I remember your caws when you were hungry. Thank you for letting me hold you close. Thank you for letting me bathe you. Thank you for letting me hold you on your back and rub your belly. Thank you for letting me feel your heartbeat against my fingers when I stopped you from running away. Thank you for blinking at me when I despaired. Thank you for curling up around my arm when I was home alone with CPTSD. Thank you for purring so damn hard and rubbing your wet nose on my worried knuckles. Thank you for leaving me your white whisker when I really needed to see one again.
I love you so much, moo.

9/28/2022 - I want to thank every visitor who has sent so much kindness this way. I am breathing the love in and exhaling the love out.
9/14/2023 - Thank you to everyone who continues to send kindness. It's hard for me to acknowledge the pain again and properly thank everyone individually. I still want to say thank you. Please know your loved ones see your love and hold you in their hearts, as you do for them.
