I know how you loved Christmas and opening your gifts from Santa. You are truly missed this Christmas and the house just didn't seem right without you here. Another year has gone by. You will never know how much you are missed. I was feeding a stray cat and finally after some months she was letting me pet her. She came one day and had her babies and she is still here. She had 4 kittens and I know that you would have loved to be playing with them now. They are feisty little ones and growing quickly. Alot has happened since you left. I will come back and tell you all about it. For now, I miss you and love you.

It has been awhile since I was last here. Alot has happened. We lost Grandmom last year. She always asked about you. I am sure she was happy to see you again. I sold the house and am traveling in an RV. I know you would have loved this life, new smells, new friends. I still have 3 of the kittens who are now going to be 3 in October. Time surely does fly. They are acclimating to this lifestyle, slowly but surely. I'll be traveling back to CA the place you loved so much. It will be sad without you being by my side. Sleep well, my sweetie, know that I miss you very much.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
