You came into our lives when you were just six months old. For 8 years you have been our life. A companion, a dear friend, a blessing..... Camping in Tahoe, Coloma, the coast, RVing together. Our walks for hours, on trails, sidewalks, sand, grass (rolling in and squishing in the mud). The minute I put my shoes on you knew it was time (or hoped it meant a walk). Your gentleness, your gracious way, your protector instincts to keep your pack safe. Loving your sister Fergie, Abby and brother Teddy. Sharing your bed with Fergie. Loving the kids. Granma and Papa love you so much. Dad, Katie, Kita, Marissa, Ryan, Melie love you so much. I have hung up your collar and leash in the hall and your bowl is right where it's been. Our moments leading up to you going to heaven are like all the days, hours, years of memories we will never forget. You have a piece of our hearts with you as yours is with us. I miss your smell, touch, breaths, deep sighs, your eyes full of love. Our hearts ache for you. You were our girl and always will be.
