Peanut, I will never forget the afternoon that you and Murphy showed up in our front yard. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on you that you would be an Eastman. It took a little more to convince your dad (like you coming back to us three times after supposedly being adopted). I didn't have to say a word that last time. Your dad and I looked at each other and knew you were never leaving again. Even Maddie and Gwennie knew and accepted it, which was quite a feat! They loved their little brother! They even let you sleep under the covers in bed with us that night! I know there is a BIG celebration in Heaven right now with both Maddie and Gwennie and your Brownie "mom" (she treated you like her own). From watching you chase the squirrels to seeing you jump 3 feet in the air when you wanted attention, you always made us laugh. Our lives were much happier and fuller with you there to share it. For such a little man, you had such a huge heart. We are very fortunate to have had the last 11 months with you since your diagnosis of brain cancer and radiation treatments. You put up a good fight! But we knew you were a fighter, just like your sisters and mom. You loved life, but your earthly body could no longer sustain you. We know you were tired and ready to go. You will always be "Our Only Little Man". We love you more than anything and you will forever hold a huge part of our hearts. Mommy and Daddy My precious little man, I can't believe it's already been a year without you. Daddy and I miss you soooooo much. Our lives are not the same without you.
