Penny was only 2 days old when she was surrendered to me, her little eyes were not open yet, I kept her in a little box and bottle fed her until one day she opened her little eyes and there I was, penny was a sweet, caring kind being, and even in her later years when she was sick, she fought and held on because I think she didn't want me to be alone or sad at the price of her carrying on. She passed on June 3rd, 2023, at the age of 15. I will carry on her Memory until the day we meet on the rainbow bridge with hugs, smiles, laughter, and love as we cross the rainbow bridge to be together forever in peace. Lord God, I thank you for the gift of Penny. "For you love all things that exist, and detest none of the things that you have made; for you would not have made anything if you had hated it" (Wis 11:24). Every creature is the object of your tenderness, Father, and you give each being its place in the world. Even the fleeting life of the least of your beings is the object of your love, and in its brief time of existence, you enfold it with affection. Our affection for Penny. thus reminds us of You. May all of creation always lead us to praise you and love you more. Amen |
