Memories of Paul
When we first got Paul, he was rescued from the Jersey Pine Barrens. He looked just like we imagined the Jersey devil to look like...and he smelled like dirt for a really long time. He and his sister Sabrina loved climbing the Christmas tree when they were younger. We would come home and find a big gaping hole in the tree (it was fake) where Paul would sit and bend the branches. Paul loved to sit with his chin on the edge of the kitchen table just waiting patiently for a little piece of meat to come his way. He loved to sit on my lap and even though he never really learned to clean himself I loved him dearly. Once a year we would have to have him shaved because of his dander and knots and he would come home looking so silly we would laugh for days. Paul..Kelly, Jake, Daddy and I love and miss you and thank you for 15 wonderful years of being a great kitty cat. You will always be the man of the house and your sisters Sabrina, Lucy, Ethyl and even brother Ollie miss you too. Bye Paulie.
