Memories of Rosie “Eak” Katz
Rosie was known as eak because of the little sound she made
She was found outside my house in April of 2010
She was never ultra friendly with any of the other cats but was always nice to me
Eak had mammary cancer. When I brought her in , there was no hope.
But there is a lesson
Check along the nipples every month
The only hope is to catch it early and even then the prognosis is poor
Eak was spayed at about 18 months. That plays a factor also
90 per cent incidence reduction if done before one year
I'm a physician. So I understand how the phrasing of things makes a difference
Eak had a much better life than being unloved outside where she would have died
And she undoubtedly was a one person cat
But a zero cat "cat"
But eak was loved and she loved me
And this loss is always hurtful
I hope there really is a place I see her again
And I'm glad this site exists
A funny eak story. While staying at a motel eak would hide
Once , had to turn room inside out. No eak
I opened an incredibly narrow desk drawer. There's eak
